The Industrial Security Analyst II, under the guidance of the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO), plays a crucial role in sustaining and overseeing the overall security framework of the organization. This position is essential to ensure adherence to the regulations set forth by the United States Departments of Defense and State, particularly as outlined in 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117 ("NISPOM Rule") and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
To excel in this role, the following tasks are prioritized:
- Direct and oversee the identification system for all personnel, including employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Manage security officer services to ensure the facility remains secure and controlled.
- Support all industrial security initiatives to guarantee compliance with governmental and corporate security standards.
- Communicate security requirements effectively to all site personnel, both in writing and verbally.
- Engage in investigations related to fraud, theft, sabotage, espionage, and employee misconduct.
- Maintain security policies and procedures that delineate regulations for personnel.
- Ensure that post orders and operational instructions for security officers are current and adhered to.
- Establish and implement standard practices for all industrial security operations.
- Assist in the interpretation of these standard practices as they pertain to industrial security.
- Facilitate the processing of visit requests and contact reports as mandated by security agreements.
- Contribute to the quarterly report for the Government Security Committee (GSC).
- Stay informed about the use of classified information systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Initiate security measures as necessary to comply with all security protocols.
- Participate in site inspections and training development.
Engage with:
- Government Security Committee
- Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DSCA)
- Other functional leaders across various company locations
- Security officers from other Elbit Systems of America sites
- Representatives from local, state, and federal agencies
- Members of any branch of the Armed Services, as required
Education:
- Preferred: Associate's degree
- Required: High School diploma or GED
Specific Degree Field Required: Industrial Security
Training Prerequisites (to be completed within one year of assuming the position):
- Cleared Personnel
- Electric Communications Plan (ECP)
- Special Security Agreement (SSA)
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
- Safety Training as mandated by the Safety Department
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with site staff and management.
- The ability to initiate and complete special projects.
- Competence in implementing comprehensive security policies and procedures.
- Experience in conducting thorough security audits.
- Capability to assist in the execution of corrective actions.
