Job Summary

The Industrial Security Specialist II will play a critical role in maintaining and managing the overall security posture of the Elbit America Headquarters and Fort Worth facilities. This position will ensure compliance with United States Departments of Defense and State requirements as presented in 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part (NISPOM Rule) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) respectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the identification system for all employees, service and technical representatives, contractors, and visitors to the company.
  • Provide and manage security officer services at the company, ensuring the facility is protected and controlled.
  • Support all industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security regulations.
  • Communicate security requirements to site staff and provide written and oral communication.
  • Participate in investigations involving fraud, theft, sabotage, espionage, subversive activities, or employee misconduct.
  • Maintain security policies and procedures, post orders, and work instructions for security officers.
  • Design, establish, and use standard practices for all industrial security functions.
  • Provide interpretation of standard practices as they relate to industrial security and assist with visit requests and contact reports.
  • Prepare information for the quarterly report to the Government Security Committee (GSC).
  • Aware of the use of classified information systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Specific Degree Field Required: Industrial Security.
  • Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position): Cleared Personnel, Electric Communications Plan (ECP), Special Security Agreement (SSA), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Safety Training, as dictated by the Safety Department.

  • Initiate and follow through to completion special projects.
  • Implement written company-wide security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive security audits.
  • Assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
