Risk Management Framework and Computer Network Defense Analyst

At Valiant Integrated Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Framework and Computer Network Defense Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for advising on Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages, strategies, and technical components to ensure compliance with NIST security controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, develop, and implement projects focused on Cyber Security and Risk Management.
  • Perform systems engineering activities in the areas of Cyber Security, Information Assurance, and System Security Engineering.
  • Develop and capture requirements for government security solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for system design, programming, documentation, and testing.
  • Assess solutions' architectural designs for compliance with NIST and DOD related policies.
  • Develop security artifacts to support the IA program, including System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Risk Assessment Reports.
  • Support systems through all steps of RMF and enable Gov Client to achieve and maintain authorities.
  • Review vulnerability scan results and work with stakeholders to architect and implement mitigations.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their technical skills.
  • Regularly create forward-thinking thought leadership deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or 5 years of experience working with Cyber Security Risk Management Framework and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts within DoD systems.
  • Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, eMASS, ACAS, SCAP, STIG, Cyber Risk Assessments, and Cyber Table Top.
  • Must maintain an active TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance and obtain and maintain IAT Level II and the appropriate computing environment certifications.
