Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Overview:
As a seasoned Accounts Receivable professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations within the Accounts Receivable Department at FirstService Residential. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all AR operations, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
- Develop and maintain A/R operating procedures and processes, effectively communicating them to staff.
- Align resources to work assignments and processes to meet business requirements, driving productivity and minimizing re-work.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, fostering strong relationships.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and minimize re-work, ensuring efficient operations.
- Creatively solve problems, working collaboratively in a positive manner, and driving results.
- Ensure effective and efficient management reporting, covering areas such as A/R Aging, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Communicate and coordinate accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers, clients, and customers.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures as they pertain to A/R.
- Perform other duties as required, demonstrating a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions for this role.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited college or university.
- Five years of Accounts Receivable experience, with three years of supervisory experience.
- Process orientation, analytical thinking ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to work within short deadlines.
- Proven critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven, with the ability to identify, plan, and prioritize business opportunities.

You will also be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000
