Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Merit Health River Oaks. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and health teaching designed to meet the age/developmental specific needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in providing direct patient care
  • Deliver quality care by offering excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the physician and nursing staff regarding patient care
  • Provide clerical and patient-related support in record keeping, scheduling, and utilizing knowledge of office policy and procedure
  • Meet and greet patients and maintain office supplies

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in direct patient care
  • Prefer experience in phlebotomy and laboratory testing/specimen preparation
  • Excellent PC skills
  • BLS / CPR certification
  • Currently certified as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body

Salary Range:$35,000 - $45,000 per year
