About the Role: Merit Health Madison is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Certified Professional to join our team. This individual will assist physicians in providing direct patient care, including health teaching and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and independent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in providing direct patient care and health teaching designed to meet the age/developmental specific needs of patients.
  • Deliver quality care by offering excellent customer service and participating in a team-centered approach towards patient care.
  • Collaborate with the physician and nursing staff regarding patient care, holistic care involving patient families, and provide clerical and patient-related support in various functional areas.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum one year experience in direct patient care, and certification as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body. Prefer experience in phlebotomy and laboratory testing/specimen preparation. Excellent PC skills required.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per annum
