Job Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, the Production Process Engineer will be responsible for enhancing manufacturing workflows and optimizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develops and refines manufacturing protocols, procedures, and layouts for various assembly processes, equipment setup, and material handling systems.

- Strategically organizes machinery placement within facilities to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.

- Creates detailed operation sequences and defines procedures for tool fabrication and equipment functionality that influence product quality.

- Modifies equipment designs to align with production environments and factory conditions.

- Integrates inspection and testing criteria into the manufacturing framework.

- Evaluates machinery, tools, and equipment performance to ensure operational effectiveness, initiating corrective measures for any identified issues to uphold product standards.

- Develops manufacturing methodologies that leverage statistical process control and may introduce innovative techniques.

- Provides expert guidance to engineering teams on design concepts and specifications to optimize equipment use and manufacturing practices.

- Ensures compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout all processes.

- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation in managing projects.

- Knowledge of Green Belt and Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous.

Qualifications:

- Candidates with a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting is required.

- Competitive hourly pay rate is offered.

- Standard work schedule includes Monday to Thursday with extended hours and a shorter Friday schedule.

Compensation:

- The compensation for this role is competitive and may vary based on the candidate's experience and skills.
