Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Syracuse, NY. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical production support, new design, research, analysis, hands-on build, test, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical production support, including design, research, analysis, and testing of equipment
- Develop and implement new designs and manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Apply finite element analysis to real-world situations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with electronics packaging, additive manufacturing, and manufacturing methods
- Proficiency in PRO-Engineer (CREO) or equivalent software
- Active US Security Clearance (Secret or higher) or ability to obtain Interim Clearance
