Job Description

An Administrative Support Specialist provides essential administrative and support services to ensure the smooth operation of our school district's offices and departments. This role is critical in promoting a safe and orderly environment for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily office routines, including answering phones, taking messages, and distributing mail.
  • Greet and assist students and visitors, directing them to the appropriate personnel or resources.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating school events and activities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documents, files, and records.
  • Type, prepare, and distribute various correspondence, reports, and other materials.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification - Act 24.
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance - Act 34.
  • Federal Criminal History Clearance - Act 114.
  • Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training - Act 126.
  • Child Abuse Clearance - Act 151.
  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release - Act 168.
  • Tuberculosis Test/Physical.
