Position Title: Facilities Space Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Facilities Space Operations Manager will oversee daily functions related to the management of interior space design and projects for employees and staff. This role includes supervising cubicle and office space arrangements for relocations and modifications. Additionally, you will assist in selecting standard and requested furniture items, ensuring adherence to furniture configuration standards while monitoring distribution throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish furniture standards for planning and managing cubicle areas, personal offices, break rooms, and conference spaces.
  • Support interdepartmental relocations by creating or modifying CAD drawings of existing and new layouts, along with necessary supplies for interior moves.
  • Collaborate with local vendors to obtain quotes for personnel relocations and supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Workplace Solutions team for final approvals regarding space usage, cubicle layouts, and furniture requests.
  • Engage with various teams to assess space and design requirements, providing updates to facility management as needed.
  • Adapt working hours based on project priorities and be present on-site as the point of contact for vendors and contractors.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Space Management reports to stakeholders.
  • Distribute tasks among team members to ensure project completion.
  • Benchmark and analyze metrics across the portfolio to drive improvements.
  • Assist in creating presentations for high-visibility projects, including workplace standards and project phasing.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in workplace strategy and design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years of facilities management experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in design consultancy, corporate interiors, or workplace operations.
  • Familiarity with the technology sector is preferred.
  • Proficient in space planning, user research, and design strategy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 and experience with facility management systems.
