Position Overview

Triad Financial Services is seeking a NMLS licensed and Bilingual (Spanish-English Speaking) Loan Originator.

Compensation: $48,000-50,000 annually plus a competitive incentive plan. We offer comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with employer matching, PTO, and more.

Role Summary: As a Loan Originator, you will be an integral member of our mortgage lending team, tasked with originating and funding mortgage loans while providing outstanding customer service. Your main focus will be on sales and developing client relationships, ensuring quality throughout the loan origination process, and maximizing funding opportunities. Your expertise in mortgage lending will be vital in assisting customers in achieving their homeownership aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads for mortgage loans through various channels, including referrals, networking, and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of borrowers' financial situations, including credit history, income, and debt-to-income ratios, to assess loan eligibility.
  • Present loan options and programs to potential borrowers, guiding them through the application and approval process with professionalism and expertise.
  • Collaborate with borrowers to gather necessary documentation, provide guidance on credit enhancement strategies, and address any concerns or inquiries throughout the loan process.
  • Work closely with Underwriters and Loan Processors to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan files, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and funding objectives by actively pursuing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Deliver ongoing customer service and support, acting as a trusted advisor to borrowers and addressing any post-closing inquiries or issues.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish-English
  • For licensed MLOs, engage in rate and term negotiations with borrowers as needed.
  • Obtain a MLO license through the NMLS.
  • Build and maintain client relationships while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Preferably possess a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Encompass software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the Manufactured Home Industry is a desirable asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
