Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Loma Linda University Medical Center plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in the Maternal Fetal Medicine department. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, age-specific care to our patients. Your technical expertise and interpersonal skills will enable you to maximize customer service and contribute to a work environment of caring and cooperation.


Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect patient care, performing designated procedures and treatments within the LVN scope of practice.
• Utilize interpersonal skills to maximize customer service and maintain a positive, professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
• Graduate of a school of Vocational Nursing.
• Minimum of six months of experience as an LVN required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in the area of specialty preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Active California Vocational Nursing license (LVN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• California Intravenous (IV) certification for designated areas.
