Position Overview

This role is a 10-week college internship within a seasonal framework, focusing on the coordination of various Special Events and Leisure Experiences. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of activities, including monitoring operational aspects such as lighting, audio-visual requirements, cleanliness, and overall system functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of all Special Events, ensuring all operational standards are met.
  • Conduct regular checks on event setups and rectify any aesthetic or operational deficiencies.
  • Support the Special Events Manager and Assistant Managers by adhering to training protocols.
  • Oversee and assist in the training of Special Events staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Gain proficiency in event-related software systems, including ticketing and inventory management.
  • Address and resolve any financial or inventory discrepancies that may arise.

Company Policies

Uphold all company policies and procedures, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to management. Ensure that personal appearance and uniform are maintained to a professional standard, while safeguarding confidential information and company assets.


Guest Interaction

Deliver exceptional service by welcoming guests in accordance with company standards, anticipating their needs, and expressing genuine appreciation for their patronage.


Communication and Teamwork

Engage with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language. Develop positive working relationships and contribute to team objectives. Adhere to quality assurance standards and actively suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.


Physical Requirements

Be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.


Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
  • Certification: None necessary.
