Role Overview: Event Services Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and manage events taking place at the venue.
  • Serve as the primary liaison during the planning and execution of events.
  • Assist in the dissemination of event-related information and ensure that client specifications are fulfilled.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to foster a service-focused environment.
  • Administer event-related services while upholding facility regulations.
  • Provide assistance for Executive and Board meetings as needed.
  • Act as the Guest Services Supervisor during events.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of experience in event services or customer service is essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are required.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Timely and precise in communications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Team-oriented individual with a positive demeanor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds, and navigate the facility.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during events.
