Sous Chef Role Summary

Oak View Group is seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join our team in Peak Restaurant by Rhubarb LLC. This dynamic individual will play a vital role in the success of our culinary department, working closely with the Executive Chef and other senior leaders to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of food preparation methods, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, developing and implementing menus, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet restaurant specifications and commitment to culinary excellence.
* Develop and implement recipes, menu items, and food preparation techniques that meet customer preferences and expectations.
* Oversee inventory management, ordering, and storage of food products to ensure timely flow of service and minimize waste.

Requirements:

* Professional degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience in a senior leadership role in an upscale restaurant.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position with prior supervisory experience and a proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations and teams.
* Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, train, and develop staff to achieve desired results.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities, including co-workers, subordinates, guests, and purveyors.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
