Job Title: Culinary Operations Manager

The Marcus Samuelsson Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Metropolis by Marcus Samuelsson in New York City. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing meals, managing kitchen operations, and supervising kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
• Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
• Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and improve existing ones

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
• Excellent culinary skills and creativity
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Culinary degree or certification preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Benefits:
