Position Overview:

The Senior IT Solutions Analyst - Transportation Management is tasked with delivering high-quality solutions that align with Weber's business objectives. This role involves collaborating with IT business partners and users to comprehend and gather requirements, identify gaps, design and implement solutions, conduct testing (Integration, UAT, and Regression), and provide training to support various initiatives. Additionally, this position will engage closely with other teams to develop custom solutions and interfaces to/from the S4 TM system, including the implementation of EDI messages. The ideal candidate will maintain effective relationships with part-time business resources, System Integrators (SI), and other IT personnel to leverage their expertise for enhancing business processes aimed at driving optimization and simplification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure the S4 TM system in accordance with business needs.
  • Analyze and document intricate business requirements while performing impact assessments.
  • Create functional specifications for custom S4/SAP developments and for interfaces with other applications.
  • Develop use cases, test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
  • Execute test plans and scripts to ensure system modifications align with business requirements.
  • Address help desk requests, including Break Fix, Master Data support, minor enhancements, reporting, and other business inquiries.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and propose solutions.
  • Participate actively in change control processes for testing and implementing system modifications, fixes, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the EDI team to implement new EDI transactions and trading partners.
  • Engage with business partners and users throughout the process to ensure solutions meet their requirements.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment.
  • Lead and assist in small to moderate-sized enhancements and projects.
  • Coordinate with S4/SAP and internal IT resources on critical and complex issues.
  • Facilitate communication across various IT and business teams, utilizing knowledge of roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Implement best practices for business analysis processes and functions, including requirements elicitation methods, while staying informed of emerging trends.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of current Supply Chain and SAP functionalities, capabilities, and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an S4 HANA/SAP OTC and TM analyst with demonstrated expertise in configuring the TM module.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integration points between SAP's core modules and their interdependencies, particularly in Finance/Controlling, Order Management, and Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Active participation in four or more full life cycle SAP implementations, achieving production status.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Ability to think in terms of processes and best practices, alongside a solid understanding of end-to-end processes such as "order to cash".
  • Sound judgment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing business solutions while meeting deadlines and budget goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a quick learning ability and innovative mindset.
  • Availability for on-call support during project go-lives and off-shift needs.
  • Flexibility to travel as necessary.
