Our company has experienced substantial growth over the last five years, expanding at an impressive rate of 20-50%. To support this growth, we are looking for a skilled CNC Service Technician to enhance our team.

In this role, you will be essential in providing support to our Field Service team throughout the United States, particularly focusing on the dynamic Midwest region.

While this position requires approximately 30% travel for installations, maintenance, repairs, and training, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success.

You will have the chance to learn from experienced Senior Service Technicians and, when not traveling, you will work from our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure equipment for clients according to specifications, ensuring optimal functionality through thorough testing and user training.
  • Provide technical assistance, perform preventive maintenance, and address equipment upkeep to meet client specifications.
  • Conduct extensive training sessions for clients, fostering innovation and ensuring ongoing performance enhancements and complete customer satisfaction.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including calibration, testing, and hardware/software upgrades.
  • Become a technical expert on both current and new equipment, providing valuable insights and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues through various methods, including telephone support, log file analysis, or on-site visits.
  • Manage repair parts inventory and offer insights on parts usage related to failures.
  • Participate in domestic and international conferences, service summits, expert meetings, trade shows, and workshops.
  • Provide service support for the assigned territory as needed, maintaining accurate service records and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Possess a BS/AAS in a technical field such as Engineering or Electronics, or have an equivalent of 3+ years of experience in Field Service for CNC equipment.

Bring 2-4+ years of experience in field service or maintenance roles, with proficiency in troubleshooting CNC or similar electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to technical excellence.

Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in customer interactions, striving to meet or exceed client expectations.

Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams, including sales, engineers, and upper management.

Showcase strong organizational skills and proficiency in documenting work performed.

Essential experience includes fabrication of parts, installations, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, motion control, and mechanical alignment.

Willingness to travel 30%+ to meet business needs within the United States is required.
