Key Responsibilities:
As a SAP S4 Security Specialist, you will:
- Provide expert guidance and support on the overall administration and architecture of S4 technology security.
- Play a pivotal role in directing and executing the management of SAP Security for the organization.
- Collaborate with security team members to establish the strategic direction of the security program, ensuring integration with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP security, addressing requirements for securing all SAP landscapes.
- Assist in the integration of the SAP landscape with other application systems under managerial guidance.
- Offer technical support and configuration for SAP applications, collaborating with third-party vendors and internal teams.
- Conduct security audit reviews and user access assessments, providing updates to management regarding security and role management for SAP systems.
Duties Include:
- Designing, building, implementing, and supporting SAP security roles and profiles across all S4 environments.
- Maintaining S4 Security roles and assignments in response to evolving access needs.
- Analyzing information security and business data to enhance understanding of security risk posture.
- Ensuring the continuous integration of information security with business strategies.
- Driving remediation plans for audit and compliance findings.
- Building and nurturing relationships with senior management and executives.
- Creating and maintaining technical and policy documentation.
- Utilizing new Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools for role analysis and issue resolution.
- Supporting application security and disaster recovery planning.
- Managing tickets related to security, including role changes and user terminations.
- Collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of SAP upgrades and modifications.
- Adapting to changing business needs and recommending future strategies.
- Providing technical assistance for inquiries regarding SAP instances.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an S4 HANA/SAP Security Analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of S4 Security, including AO reports, Idocs, CPI, and FIORI; BTC knowledge is a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP's core modules and their interdependencies.
- Participation in multiple full life cycle SAP implementations.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Willingness to be available for project go-live and off-shift support.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
