Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join our team at RSM Global. As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will work closely with our experienced security professionals to assist in the development and implementation of security governance and compliance programs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify security vulnerabilities within clients' systems and networks
  • Develop and implement security controls and remediation plans to mitigate identified risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network architectures
  • Conduct security testing and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, including NIST and ISO
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance
  • Certifications in security, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
