Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Operations Leader plays a pivotal role within the IT Security Risk and Compliance team. This position is essential for overseeing a team of senior security professionals responsible for managing security platforms and global security systems, as well as third-party risk management and security consulting. The leader will work to mitigate cyber risks that could affect business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate IT risk requirements into technical control specifications.
- Develop metrics for ongoing performance assessment and reporting.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of information security experts, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to establish service-level agreements.
- Engage in change management and architecture review processes.
- Ensure security considerations are integrated into hardware and software evaluations.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base on security trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for IT initiatives.
- Serve as the incident leader for significant security incidents, coordinating responses and facilitating information sharing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams and levels of management.
