The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the complete recruitment process, which includes posting job openings, evaluating resumes, conducting initial phone interviews, and occasionally leading in-person interviews. This role will also encompass general HR support, which includes employee relations, maintaining records, assisting with payroll processing, and engaging in various departmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to screening and interviewing.
  • Design and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and provide necessary guidance.
  • Oversee job postings, resume reviews, applicant tracking, and ensure a positive experience for candidates.
  • Coordinate job offers and facilitate negotiations.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, including organizing orientation and training sessions, and completing necessary documentation.

HR Generalist Functions:

  • Support the review, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies.
  • Respond accurately to employment verification requests.
  • Address unemployment claims as required.
  • Maintain HR records, including tracking transfers, terminations, job classification changes, and paid time off.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in managing the performance evaluation program.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding HR matters.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Resolve employee concerns and conflicts promptly and fairly.
  • Maintain HR metrics and generate regular reports to monitor key performance indicators.
  • Assist with the administration of the benefits program as needed.
  • Perform payroll processing tasks.
  • Engage in other projects as assigned by management.

  • Skillful in building relationships and maintaining professionalism in the workplace.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:

2-5 years of experience in a professional Human Resources setting, with a focus on recruitment preferred.

Working Environment:

This role operates in various environments, primarily within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.

Licenses/Certifications:

No specific licenses or certifications required.
