Primary Duties:

  • Managing substantial data volumes for esteemed clients.
  • Entering invoices and reimbursement requests into the financial system.
  • Collaborating with project teams to support contract expense oversight.
  • Ensuring precise coding and cost allocation during credit card statement reconciliation.
  • Maintaining vendor information, including address updates, contact details, tax classifications, and preferred payment methods.
  • Assisting in the preparation and filing of annual 1099 forms.
  • Overseeing vendor payments to ensure prompt processing.
  • Addressing billing discrepancies and collaborating with project teams and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Issuing virtual credit cards for internal and project-related purchases.
  • Providing additional assistance to the Finance Department as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an accounts payable position.
  • A degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects accurately and efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders across various projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Reliability, self-motivation, and a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with federal contracts and Federal Travel Regulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct software is advantageous.
