POSITION: Assistant Property Manager

COMPENSATION: $20.00/Hourly + Benefits and Bonus Eligibility

Ideal Candidate: We seek skilled, service-oriented professionals to enhance our dynamic management team in Austin, specifically in the role of Assistant Property Managers. This position entails supporting the oversight of designated affordable housing properties, which includes responsibilities such as conducting apartment evaluations, property assessments, leasing activities, and rent collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to resident inquiries
  • Execute administrative duties for timely lease renewals
  • Accurately assess resident household income for rent calculations
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal laws
  • Manage rent collection, facilitate lease renewals, and organize resident documentation electronically

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, as well as Google applications
  • Must obtain Housing Management certification within one year of employment

Preferred:

  • Some college coursework in related disciplines
  • Prior experience in property management
  • Familiarity with YARDI property management software and bilingual capabilities
