Responsibilities
  • Delivering nursing care to residents in post-acute settings
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting findings to supervisors
  • Observing and documenting residents' conditions during shifts
  • Assisting with meal service and feeding as necessary
  • Supporting residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene and mobility
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in residents' living spaces
  • Facilitating communication between medical staff and residents
  • Assisting with the movement and repositioning of residents
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
Qualifications
  • Current certification as a Patient Care Assistant
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and healthcare professionals
