We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at SSM Health Care System. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the emergency department and nursery settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pediatric services to patients in the emergency department and nursery settings
- Collaborate with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Respond to requests from the emergency department for patient evaluation and treatment
- Attend high-risk deliveries and normal deliveries as requested
- Be available to provide care to neonates in the nursery as needed
- Collaborate with advance practice nurses and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Experience in pediatric hospital medicine
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
