We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at IntelyCare. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities, working closely with medical staff and residents to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to residents, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to supervisors as necessary
- Observe residents' conditions during shifts and report any concerns to the broader nursing team
- Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, change linens, and maintain a hygienic environment
- Communicate with medical staff and residents, and serve as a liaison between the two
- Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed
- Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide companionship
- Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with medical professionals and residents
- Competitive hourly pay range: $22-$30
