Job Overview

Lead Respiratory Care Team with HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a skilled Supervisor Respiratory Therapy to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the delivery of optimal patient care. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a strong knowledge of respiratory procedures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily operations of the respiratory care department
  • Supervise and mentor respiratory therapists to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices and technologies

Requirements:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • PALS and NRP certifications strongly preferred
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) certification
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
