Role Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapy Student to join our dedicated team, fostering an environment of collaboration, quality, and safety for our patients. We value teamwork and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary, you will deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including basic respiratory treatments, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas analysis, and electrocardiograms.
You will demonstrate adaptability and serve as a resource for the patient care team.
You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality respiratory services and promoting a positive image of the department.
You will adhere to all policies, procedures, and directives, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program with at least 6 months completed in the clinical phase of education.
Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
One year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
