Position Summary and Requirements
We are looking for a Respiratory Therapy Student to join our dynamic team, fostering a culture of teamwork, quality, and patient safety. We value patient care and are eager to find a candidate who shares this commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary, you will deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including basic respiratory procedures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas analysis, and electrocardiograms.
You will demonstrate teamwork and adaptability while serving as a resource for the patient care team.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring high-quality respiratory services and promoting a positive departmental image.
You will adhere to all relevant policies and procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program with at least 6 months completed, alongside the clinical phase of education.
BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
Preferred: 1 year of experience in a hospital environment.
