A DAY IN THE LIFE:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and oversee the execution of strategic sales objectives and business goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct research and analyze key economic indicators that may affect market dynamics within specific niche sectors or geographic regions.
  • Participate in trade shows and association meetings to remain informed about market conditions, competition, and to build relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Provide regular updates on new business development activities and other key performance indicators to the ARCO management team.
  • Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process in collaboration with ARCO's marketing, estimating, project management, and leadership teams.
  • Establish profitable relationships with decision-makers at various companies and organizations.
  • Expand ARCO's presence and enhance brand awareness.
  • Based in a major metropolitan area, with regional travel as necessary to network, meet clients, and nurture relationships.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-10 years of sales experience within the real estate development or construction sector.
  • Experience in life sciences-related construction, including laboratories, clean rooms, and specialized manufacturing.
  • A broad and comprehensive business background with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of design/build construction.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Design, Construction Management, or a related field is advantageous).
