In this position, you will:
  • Oversee the daily opening and closing operations of the office.
  • Greet all patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Assist in ensuring patient comfort and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
  • Handle phone inquiries, resolve issues, and schedule patient appointments.
  • Collect co-pays and manage daily financial reconciliations.
  • Guide patients in completing necessary forms and documentation.
  • Maintain patient records using the practice's EMR system.
  • Organize and oversee physician schedules based on established guidelines.
  • Assist with the distribution of quality assurance surveys and preventive screenings.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor and respond to incoming messages.
  • Ensure all patients requiring appointments are scheduled appropriately.
  • Safeguard patient privacy by adhering to HIPAA confidentiality standards.
  • Contribute to team efforts by adapting to various daily roles as needed.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations by following established policies and procedures.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accept guidance and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer skills is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
  • Spanish language skills are preferred.
Compensation is up to $24 per hour based on experience. Benefits include Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance from day one, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO, 8 paid holidays (including 2 floating), and more.
