Job Summary

QSAC Inc is seeking a dedicated Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Day Habilitation program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Behavior Intervention: Develop and implement behavior support plans, assess and address challenges, and train our team members in the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Assessments and Analysis: Maintain coordination of active treatment services, develop and monitor monthly goals and objectives, and provide written summaries for interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on skills and techniques to support individuals with autism, and assist with staff disciplinary actions when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in a human services professional field, such as sociology, special education, or psychology.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience and training in ABA supports for individuals with autism, and general knowledge of theories and principles of behavioral analysis.
  • Skills: Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights, and ability to run when needed.
