Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in Basking Ridge, NJ. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive and clinical dispensing services to patients in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and enter chemotherapy orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Mix and check medications, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager and Clinical Coordinators to maintain adequate staffing and smooth workflow
  • Implement new pharmacy technology and projects, staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Train and educate new pharmacy staff on technologies, drug information, and Omnicell usage
  • Support Pharmacy operations at MSK Basking Ridge and MSK Montvale as needed
Requirements
  • PharmD (or equivalent) degree
  • NJ State Pharmacist License
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems
  • IV compounding experience (preferred)
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)
  • Five or more years' experience in Chemotherapy Pharmacy practice (preferred)
  • Omnicell/PYXIS experience (preferred)
