Job Summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at MSK Basking Ridge. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive, clinical, and dispensing services in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Pharmacy Manager and work closely with Pharmacy Clinical Coordinators, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.

• Be responsible for all aspects of chemotherapy order verification, order entry, mixing, and checking.

• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to maintain adequate staffing daily and adjust staff assignments as needed to optimize workflow and patient care.

• Participate in implementing new pharmacy technology and projects to enhance patient care and department efficiency.

• Assist with training new pharmacy staff and educate them on new technologies, drug information, and Omnicell usage.

• Support Pharmacy operations at MSK Basking Ridge and MSK Montvale as needed.

Requirements

• PharmD (or equivalent) degree.

• NJ State Pharmacist License.

• Strong digital literacy and ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems.

• IV compounding experience (preferred).

• Prior hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).

• Five or more years' experience in Chemotherapy Pharmacy practice (preferred).

• Omnicell/PYXIS experience (preferred).
