Job Description

Our Pharmacy Department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team at MSK Basking Ridge. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive, clinical, and dispensing services in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic efficacy and safety through a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
  • Work closely with Pharmacy Clinical Coordinators, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Administrators to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety
  • Implement new pharmacy technology and projects to improve patient care and workflow
  • Assist with training new pharmacy staff and provide education on new technologies, drug information, and Omnicell usage
  • Support Pharmacy operations at MSK Basking Ridge and MSK Montvale as needed
Requirements:
  • PharmD (or equivalent) degree
  • NJ State Pharmacist License
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems
  • IV compounding experience (preferred)
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)
  • Five or more years' experience in Chemotherapy Pharmacy practice (preferred)
  • Omnicell/PYXIS experience (preferred)
