About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary pharmacy department that provides comprehensive clinical and dispensing services in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care through the verification, order entry, mixing, and checking of chemotherapy orders.
  • Work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to maintain adequate staffing and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Implement new pharmacy technology and projects to improve patient care and safety.
  • Assist with training new pharmacy staff and educate them on new technologies, drug information, and Omnicell usage.
Requirements:
  • PharmD (or equivalent) degree.
  • NJ State Pharmacist License.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems.
  • IV compounding experience (preferred).
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
  • Five or more years' experience in Chemotherapy Pharmacy practice (preferred).
  • Omnicell/PYXIS experience (preferred).
