Job Description

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in our Mortgage organization, working closely with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recommend loan solutions that meet clients' requirements and adhere to lending guidelines.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer relationships, seeking opportunities to retain and develop new clients through sales calls and other initiatives.
  • Develop and prepare loan solutions, referring products and services as needed, and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Collect and analyze customer financial information for multifaceted and complex borrowers, providing expert guidance and support.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of mortgage products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred skills include banking products, client prospecting, customer needs, customer relationships, customer solutions, documentation, innovation, lending, mortgages, and sales.

Additionally, you will need to possess a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience. Certifications and licenses are not required, but may be beneficial in this role.
