Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team at JELD-WEN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all production lines are running efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the resources and training they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that any variances are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, working closely with other departments to ensure that all changes are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including quality, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure that all production activities are aligned with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy for all employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address production issues promptly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments, with a focus on achieving company goals and objectives.
