Position Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager who is a dynamic and results-driven leader. This role is pivotal to the success of our operations, focusing on continuous improvement and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production, lean manufacturing principles, and process enhancement. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the planning and organization of production schedules, evaluating project and resource needs to ensure timely completion.
  2. Oversee the implementation and management of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program to maintain compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  3. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, minimizing waste, and boosting overall operational performance.
  4. Drive continuous process improvement efforts to elevate production quality, capacity, and efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with team members to formulate and execute strategies that align with the company's manufacturing objectives.
  6. Ensure adherence to industry-standard health and safety protocols by all employees.
  7. Assess employee performance and identify training requirements to enhance skills and productivity.
  8. Maintain effective communication across all organizational levels, providing regular updates to senior management regarding production status and challenges.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in food production.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in SQF, lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies.
  3. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  4. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving team performance.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen focus on quality and detail.
  6. Robust project management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  8. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
