About the RoleThe Behavioral Health Consultant will work collaboratively with Primary Care Physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients. This role involves developing and implementing behavioral treatment plans to improve patients' overall functioning and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians to develop and implement integrated care plans
- Provide behavioral health services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Work with patients and their families to develop and implement behavioral treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care coordination and patient outcomes
- Independent license to practice in a healthcare setting, such as a PhD/PsyD in psychology, a Master's in social work, or a Master's in counseling
- Associate license required; will consider providing supervising hours towards license
- Advanced organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
