Job Title: Behavioral Health Nurse Aide

At Nitelines USA, Inc, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Nurse Aide to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Behavioral Health Nurse Aide to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Behavioral Health Nurse Aide, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to deliver exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with individual treatment plans and hospital, state, and federal regulations.
  • Deliver care that prioritizes patient safety and comfort, including attention to basic needs, activities, and inventory.
  • Recognize and safely deescalate patient situations, utilizing assistance from the support team when necessary.
  • Move and transfer patients, escort, and transport patients to activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with RNs and document information regarding changes in condition or clinical information.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A current WA Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) or Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC/CNA), or Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Patience and compassion in delivering quality healthcare and daily living assistance.
  • Ability to deescalate behavioral health issues in a calm and non-threatening manner.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with patients, peers, management, and the public.
  • Ability to provide patient safety and comfort through attention to their general health and assistance in accomplishing daily hygiene issues.
