The Medicare division is responsible for driving membership expansion, managing profit and loss, optimizing performance, and enhancing the overall customer experience within the Medicare sector.
In this capacity, you will contribute to the effectiveness of the Medicare operational framework by spearheading essential initiatives that facilitate the attainment of key objectives, overseeing performance governance activities, and fostering employee engagement, communication, and leadership initiatives.
You will play a pivotal role in aligning Medicare objectives with cross-functional priorities and initiatives.Moreover, you will collaborate to cultivate comprehensive strategic partnerships and oversee vendor management for Medicare, supporting critical objectives.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will:
Be accountable for the planning and execution of moderately complex projects.
Propose actionable plans based on significant business challenges and ensure successful implementation.
Facilitate the annual strategic planning process.
Assist financial stakeholders in completing business planning and forecasting.
Oversee budget planning as part of the annual budget cycle.
Identify and address process gaps to guarantee the achievement of Medicare objectives and targets.
Lead departmental initiatives that benefit Medicare, including those aimed at enhancing growth, profitability, performance optimization, and customer experience.
Support the monitoring and enhancement of Medicare performance by preparing for key performance governance meetings; collaborate with functional partners to align their priorities with Medicare's goals.
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive vendor management governance framework for the Medicare line of business to ensure vendor partners consistently meet compliance, contractual, and experience standards.
Your Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Requires experience in Program Management and Business Planning; vendor management experience is preferred.
Requires experience in health plans or providers; Medicare experience is highly preferred.
Requires strong presentation skills and proficiency in meeting preparations at the executive level.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive complex projects to achieve positive outcomes and meet targets/goals.
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including executives.
