Job Title: F&B Supervisor

Bay Mills Indian Community is seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&B Supervisor to join our team at Bay Mills Resort & Casinos. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, and leading a team of food service and production employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that patrons receive a superior experience in all casino F&B outlets and service areas.
  • Supervise and coach food service and production employees to develop teamwork and achieve projected goals.
  • Ensure that all standards regarding table settings, floors, bar setup, housekeeping, and physical plant are maintained and presented per established standards.
  • Monitor and maintain food and beverage sequence of service, including monitoring of guest alcohol consumption and providing intervention when necessary.
  • Interact with customers to determine level of satisfaction and areas of underperformance.
  • Identify and address service staff who require assistance in compliance with guest service standards and additional training.
  • Implement new service practices to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with contests and rewards for top sales achievers.
  • Ensure that schedules are clearly communicated to all outlet employees and verify compliance by staff of following written schedules.
  • Maintain a working labor control system and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Ensure that employees report and/or depart at scheduled times while observing proper uniform, hygiene, and coordinated breaks.
  • Maintain proper inventories of related food and beverage products supporting dining room areas and beverage service areas.
  • Ensure the quality levels of food and beverage products and maintain quality standards in production, services, facilities, and guest satisfaction.
  • Work with Security and Surveillance teams to maintain processes and integrity of policy and service in a highly regulated environment.
  • Exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all and promote positive relations through an environment that encourages open communications, trust, and mutual respect.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associated Degree in a relevant field desired.
  • One to three years' supervisory experience in maintaining a high level of service quality, high volume operations, and cleanliness in an upscale hospitality operation.
  • Experience in serving large numbers of persons and providing a superior experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Bay Mills Gaming Commission and maintain eligibility throughout employment.
  • Must have a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Must possess strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills as demonstrated through past work experience.
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of computers and Point of Sales (POS) systems.
  • Leads by example, works alongside fellow employees to insure proper presentation and to enforce teamwork.
