What You Will Do

As a dental assistant at Triangle Implant Center - Cary, you will play a critical role in supporting our dentists and delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry and provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked, and schedule appointments and post-op visits as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a specialty setting.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and reliable.
  • A high school diploma.
  • A certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law).
  • An active state radiology license (if required by law).
