Position Summary:

Oceania International, a rapidly expanding E-commerce enterprise, is in search of a skilled and proactive E-commerce Product Operations Coordinator to enhance our team. This role is essential in overseeing operations to ensure optimal resource utilization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving production and customer service objectives through effective planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of labor resources.

The E-commerce Product Operations Coordinator will be pivotal in managing our repair and quality assurance team, ensuring seamless communication between our US and Chinese operations, and driving operational excellence. This position requires a bilingual professional fluent in Chinese and English, possessing strong organizational capabilities, familiarity with data analytics, and a foundational understanding of warehouse management procedures and workflows. The Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and must be adaptable to accommodate meetings with our China team during after-hours at least 2-3 times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise the repair and quality assurance team to uphold high standards of product quality and prompt repairs.
    • Formulate and execute quality assurance protocols and repair procedures.
    • Devise and implement strategies to enhance workflows, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
    • Monitor and assess the performance of the quality management team, providing guidance to meet operational targets.
  • Communication:
    • Act as the primary liaison between US operations and Chinese manufacturing partners.
    • Facilitate effective communication to ensure alignment and smooth operational processes.
    • Conduct regular meetings with the China team, including after-hours sessions at least 2-3 times a week.
  • Reporting and Coordination:
    • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with regular updates on operational status.
    • Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive operational activities.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on operational performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance and Repairs:
    • Ensure all products adhere to rigorous quality standards prior to customer delivery.
    • Oversee the management of repairs and returns, ensuring timely resolutions.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and minimize defects.
  • Data Analytics:
    • Utilize appropriate data analytics tools to maintain and optimize operational dashboards.
    • Employ data analysis tools to monitor and evaluate operational metrics.
    • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for enhancement through data insights.
    • Generate actionable insights to optimize operations and drive efficiency.
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Maintain knowledge of warehouse management procedures and workflows.
    • Ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
    • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to streamline processes and boost productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, ERP, and WMS systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, quality assurance, or a similar capacity.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis tools and applications (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse management principles, procedures, and workflows.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to engage in after-hours meetings with the China team 2-3 times a week.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular office hours with some flexibility to meet operational demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
