The Human Resources Generalist is crucial in improving the employee experience. Key responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding new employees, managing benefits and payroll, addressing employee inquiries, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the organization's human resource strategy.
  • Develop and enforce personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment process and oversee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Administer employee benefits (group insurance, 401K, etc.) and ensure timely payroll processing.
  • Oversee all company leave, including STD/LTD and FMLA.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and payroll, addressing employee questions and resolving issues.
  • Handle unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to local and national labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain the employee handbook and policy manual.
  • Design and implement training and development programs for staff.
  • Keep employee records current.
  • Engage in discussions regarding HR matters with headquarters in Korea.
  • Manage and coordinate services from third-party vendors, such as Bamboo HR and QuickBooks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a background in managing employees across multiple states.
  • Fluency in English and Korean.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Experience with Bamboo HR and QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation: $80,000-110,000/Yr
