A leading luxury consumer goods company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer to lead the overall operations and management of the company onsite in their NYC office. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operations leader in the high-end consumer product industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth, improving processes, and building high-performing teams. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the company is aligned with its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage overall company operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to set the company's strategic direction and ensure alignment with company goals.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and improve business outcomes.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop and manage budgets and financial plans, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
Provide strategic guidance and support to the various company departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the company's operations and reputation.
Manage and oversee major projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, with a track record of driving business growth and success.
  • Direct operations experience with a consumer goods company, preferably high-end/luxury products is required
  • Strong operational management skills, with the ability to manage and oversee multiple departments and teams.
  • Experience in business development and project management, with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets and financial plans.
  • Experience with change management and the ability to lead organizational transformation initiatives.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, financial planning and capital planning management, with a focus on process improvement and cost reduction
