About NELP

Founded in 1969, NELP is a leading advocacy organization with the mission to build a just and inclusive economy where all workers have expansive rights and thrive in good jobs. Together with local, state, and national partners, NELP advances its mission through transformative legal and policy solutions, research, capacity building, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate grant and individual donor records in Salesforce and ActBlue, including donor acknowledgements.
  • Manage the development team deadlines calendar and enhance project management for institutional and individual giving activities.
  • Coordinate grant and individual donation payment tracking and reconciliation processes with the finance team.

  • Experience with and/or an interest in learning about workers' rights, economic justice, and racial justice work.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple projects and meet objectives.
  • Skilled at conducting high-quality and thorough research and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission and impact to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that will enable you to work collaboratively with staff across the organization.
  • Proficiency in donor and project management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ActBlue).
  • Strong racial equity competencies and a commitment to understanding how race and power shape systems in our society and culture.

Benefits

This position is in NELP's bargaining unit, represented by National Organization of Legal Service Workers, UAW Local 2320. Classification and compensation for NELP bargaining unit positions are commensurate with relevant experience and education and based on NELP's collectively bargained scales.
