Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Technician to join our team at Vertex Aerospace LLC. As an Aircraft Systems Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft systems, components, and accessories, as well as aircraft flight control and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair aircraft systems, components, and accessories
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft flight control and hydraulic systems
  • Use test equipment and Ground Support Equipment to perform assigned tasks
  • Annotate maintenance actions on aircraft forms and Visual Information Display Systems (VIDS)/Maintenance Action Forms (MAF) or within Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) Systems
  • Comply with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control Programs
  • Ensure proper operation and use of special test equipment and Ground Support Equipment
  • Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished
  • May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments
  • Perform corrosion maintenance and inspections as required
  • Assist when directed to ensure safety, security, and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years experience within the last six (6) years performing repair and replacement of aircraft systems, components, and accessories, as well as aircraft flight control and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, schematics, and industry safety requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • US citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CAC card and government required security clearance
  • Valid state DL
